Plans to construct the Regina Saskatchewan Temple were announced August 3, 1998. Church leaders broke ground November 14, 1998, and Boyd K. Packer, then acting president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, dedicated the Regina Saskatchewan Temple November 14, 1999. The temple serves Latter-day Saints in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada.

The 994-square-metre temple’s exterior is light grey granite.
