Plans to construct the Regina Saskatchewan Temple were announced 3 August 1998. Church leaders broke ground 14 November 1998, and Boyd K. Packer, then acting president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, dedicated the Regina Saskatchewan Temple 14 November 1999. The temple serves Latter-day Saints in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada.

The 10,700-square-foot temple’s exterior is light grey granite.
