Alain L. Allard

Elder Alain L. Allard was named a member of the Sixth Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 5, 2014.

Elder Allard studied business administration at McGill University. He then began working for the Church in 1979 and is currently the manager of field relations in the Family History Department for Canada and the northern United States.

Since joining the Church in 1972, Elder Allard has served in numerous Church callings, including elders quorum president, branch president’s counsellor, district president, bishop, high councillor and stake president.

Alain Carol Lionel Allard was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on January 18, 1952. He married Nicole Lalumiére in April 1972. They are the parents of two children. Elder and Sister Allard reside in Terrebonne, Quebec, Canada.
